Yes, you can create and join groups immediately. However, without registration, if you reinstall the app, your groups won't be saved. Registration ensures you'll always have access to your groups, even after reinstallation.
Group members will see your last location before you stopped sharing, but won't receive new updates. You can resume sharing anytime.
Only if you're registered. After logging into your account from a new device, all your groups will sync automatically.
Only you can see the list of groups you're in. Group members only see the names of other participants in the same group.
With paused sharing, the group remains active but you don't send new locations. When you leave, the group is removed from your list and all data is deleted.
